Want to submit a story to the Good Cause Blog, but you’re not sure where to start? Need some ideas and suggestions for how to tell your story in the most effective way possible? Maybe you just haven’t been able to set aside time to put pen to paper.

If this sounds like you, then we hope you’ll join us on Thursday, October 20th for a free non-profit storytelling Lunch & Learn with Pam Turos, Founder of the Good Cause Blog, and guest instructor Lee Chilcote, Director of Literary Cleveland, a seasoned journalist and former editor of Freshwater Cleveland.
The Everybody Writes workshop will provide a basic introduction to concepts of effective storytelling to support your organization’s social media efforts, awareness and fundraising campaigns. Activities will be geared to help identify and write stories that will help inspire potential supporters to take action and get involved.
After an introduction to the techniques of personal essay, memoir and content marketing, students will begin working on an in-class essay while instructors provide tips, guidance and feedback. Completed essays will be eligible for publication on The Good Cause Blog.
Registration is free, but space is limited to the first 20 people. Bring your laptop if you can! Lunch provided by Good Cause Creative.
